Come join us for a fun filled evening of dancing and friendship. We would love to have you in our square!  We dance at the Boring Barn every 1st, 4th and 5th Saturday. On the 1st Saturdays, we Round dance from 7:00 to 7:30 PM, and on 3rd Saturdays we conduct a Plus workshop from 7:00 to 7:30 PM. The dance is mainstream from 7:30 to 10:30 with the 3rd tip Plus. Our 5th Saturdays are now all Plus from 7:00 to 10:30 PM.

Community Connection Leadership Team Meeting @ Boring Fire Station Annex Building

The Community Connection is always seeking new volunteers of all ages and backgrounds to help us carry forward our mission of strengthening our communities through the development and promotion of social, education, and service activities for our neighbors. (Read more about our mission here.)

The leadership team of the Boring-Damascus Community Connection meets on the first Monday of every month and we would love to have interested folks join us, learn more about our work, and potentially get involved!  We have volunteer roles that range from significant to those with very limited time commitments. The purpose of Community Planning Organizations is to involve citizens in land use planning in unincorporated Clackamas County. The CPO Program is the method Clackamas County uses to meet Goal 1, Citizen Involvement, of the Statewide Planning Goals. Everyone who lives, owns property or has a business in the unincorporated parts of the County can be a member of a CPO. Since land use planning within a city is the responsibility of the city, individuals who live inside city limits can be involved in their city’s citizen involvement program.

Image result for friends of boring station trailhead parkThe Boring Station Trailhead Park was once a shipping location during streetcar operation. Clackamas County Parks purchased nearly seven acres from the Union Pacific Railroad in 1999, extending from SE Dee Street to 1/3 mile south of Highway 212. Community organizations have invested both time and resources into planning and developing the site. The Friends of Boring Station Trailhead Park, in conjunction with the Boring-Damascus Grange and the Boring Community Planning Organization, have cleared the site of debris and resurfaced it with sand and gravel. They have also contributed to bringing a stage, electrical access, water and sewer service, storage area, and a monument to the site.

Come join us for a fun filled evening of dancing and friendship. We would love to have you in our square!  We dance at the Boring Barn every 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturday. On the 1st Saturdays, we Round dance from 7:00 to 7:30 PM, and on 3rd Saturdays we conduct a Plus workshop from 7:00 to 7:30 PM. The dance is mainstream from 7:30 to 10:30 with the 3rd tip Plus. Our 5th Satudays are now all Plus from 7:00 to 10:30 PM.

Clackamas County Parks purchased nearly seven acres from the Union Pacific Railroad in 1999, extending from SE Dee Street to 1/3 mile south of Highway 212. Community organizations have invested both time and resources into planning and developing the site. The Friends of Boring Station Trailhead Park, in conjunction with the Boring-Damascus Grange and the Boring Community Planning Organization, have cleared the site of debris and resurfaced it with sand and gravel. They have also contributed to bringing a stage, electrical access, water and sewer service, storage area, and a monument to the site.

The purpose of Community Planning Organizations is to involve citizens in land use planning in unincorporated Clackamas County. The CPO Program is the method Clackamas County uses to meet Goal 1, Citizen Involvement, of the Statewide Planning Goals. Everyone who lives, owns property or has a business in the unincorporated parts of the County can be a member of a CPO. Since land use planning within a city is the responsibility of the city, individuals who live inside city limits can be involved in their city’s citizen involvement program.

The leadership team of the Boring-Damascus Community Connection meets on the first Monday of every month and we would love to have interested folks join us, learn more about our work, and potentially get involved!  We have volunteer roles that range from significant to those with very limited time commitments. The Boring Community Planning Organization (CPO) meets on the first Tuesday of each month, 7 P.M. at the Boring Fire Station, 28655 SE Hwy 212, Boring, in their Community Room.

The purpose of Community Planning Organizations is to involve citizens in land use planning in unincorporated Clackamas County. The CPO Program is the method Clackamas County uses to meet Goal 1, Citizen Involvement, of the Statewide Planning Goals. Everyone who lives, owns property or has a business in the unincorporated parts of the County can be a member of a CPO. Since land use planning within a city is the responsibility of the city, individuals who live inside city limits can be involved in their city’s citizen involvement program.

Come join us for a fun filled evening of dancing and friendship. We would love to have you in our square!  We dance at the Boring Barn every 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturday. On the 1st Saturdays, we Round dance from 7:00 to 7:30 PM, and on 3rd Saturdays we conduct a Plus workshop from 7:00 to 7:30 PM. The dance is mainstream from 7:30 to 10:30 with the 3rd tip Plus. Our 5th Satudays are now all Plus from 7:00 to 10:30 PM.

Friends of the Boring Station Trailhead Park @ Boring-Damascus Grange

Image result for friends of boring station trailhead parkThe Boring Station Trailhead Park was once a shipping location during streetcar operation. Clackamas County Parks purchased nearly seven acres from the Union Pacific Railroad in 1999, extending from SE Dee Street to 1/3 mile south of Highway 212. Community organizations have invested both time and resources into planning and developing the site. The Friends of Boring Station Trailhead Park, in conjunction with the Boring-Damascus Grange and the Boring Community Planning Organization, have cleared the site of debris and resurfaced it with sand and gravel. They have also contributed to bringing a stage, electrical access, water and sewer service, storage area, and a monument to the site.
