Every year on the Sunday after Labor Day, 1000s of people gather in Boring, Oregon for the “Celebration in Boring,” hosted by the Boring-Damascus Grange #260.
The goal of our event is to bring members, friends and family of our community together and to raise funds for important community projects.
We want to make new friends, visit with old, and share good times. The event features free music, free family games like the egg and balloon toss, and candy in the hay. There are carnival games, products for sale made by local vendors, raffle prizes, a silent auction, a great $5 lunch, and many booths representing local businesses, churches and non-profits.
The profits from the event are used for improvements to the Boring Station Trailhead Park. There is NO admission fee, so please join us for a day of family fun in Boring! The Celebration runs from 10:00am till 3:00pm with events the whole time. So join us for the Celebration, stay a while and you’ll be able to say “I had a great time in Boring!”
