The Clackamas River Basin Council has partnered with the Estacada Library and Whispering Pines Senior Village to host a native planting event at the Wade Creek pond on the 22nd. We will be planting over 800 native trees and shrubs in order to create habitat for wildlife, create shade for Wade Creek and provide filtration for runoff that goes into the Clackamas watershed.

Join us at the Estacada Library for a fun day of learning and service! We will have educational opportunities, and will then get busy removing invasive weeds and helping to plant a beautiful forest at the Wade Creek Pond for all to enjoy! Help create more shade and cooler water for fish, building a beautiful and functional habitat for ALL of Estacada’s residents – human, feathered, furred and finned! Activities include: Invasive Plant Removal, Litter Cleanup, Native Planting.
