“Being a princess isn’t about what you wear, what you look like or what you have-it’s about how you make others feel.”

Local authors, Renae Frey and Estelle Big Eagle are excited to share their recently published children’s book, “Attributes of a Princess.”

“Attributes of a Princess” is a children’s book listing virtues from A to Z.  This beautiful book is sure to please little princesses, as well as, their mothers and grandmothers.  Princess Little Bit and Princess Sweet Pea exhibit quality character traits that are clearly defined and easy to understand.   Each trait is written to teach little princesses how to apply these character traits in their relationships, assuring confident and courageous behaviors.

All princesses and their mothers, grandmothers, aunties and friends are invited to a luncheon and book signing.  Princesses are encouraged to wear their favorite princess dress.  The event will be held at the Estacada Public Library on July 20th, 11:00-1:00. The luncheon and a book for your princess is $25.00, for companions without a book is $10.00.  “Attributes of a Princess” can be purchased separately for $15.00.  For reservations, call 818-205-7330.

Frey said she came up with the idea to create this book while she was contemplating about how to teach my granddaughter quality character traits in a way that she could relate to.  “Immediately, the idea for the book came to mind.  This book has taken almost two years to finish.  It truly is a work of love.”

Estelle says, “When Renae first asked me to partner with this book, I was very excited from the very onset of this project, about the content and the idea of expressing these valuable principles.”

Darla Rowton said, “Wow! From first glance, this book danced off the page and caught my attention. Simply elegant pages that filled my mind with thoughts of princess and fairy tale. The illustrations are perfectly unique and whimsical in a way that I haven’t felt captured before. The combination of fantasy and education collide flawlessly in this book to create a work of imagination and learning that will be sure to captivate many little ones for years to come. As a parent of little girls I feel refreshed to have come across a book that has clearly been woven together with thoughtfulness and love for the princesses in my life. Can not wait to share this book with my daughters!”

Andrea Huffman of Estacada says, “This is a wonderful book. A needed example of what a REAL princess should be.  Get lost in this story of sweet, kind, intelligent and elegant young princesses as they interact with their friends.”
