Starting in 1980, Ruthie and Bill’s grown children — a priest, an aspiring actress, and a former football star — all return home, where we learn of their plans and dreams as they embark on their adult lives. The empty-nester parents contend with their own changes, too, as old family rituals are trotted out and ancient tensions flare up. As time passes, the family discovers that, despite what we may have in mind, we often arrive at unexpected destinations.
The free food pantry at Lewis and Clark Montessori Charter School is is open from 2-7 every Friday and is open to all. Please enter the school parking lot through the north gate and proceed through the chain-link fence gate to park on the blacktop. Come get some food for your family and take some to share with a neighbor that might not be able to make it.
Practice your Spanish with other language learners. This is not an instructional course, but rather a great opportunity to chat and improve your skills through facilitated conversation. Every second and fourth Saturday of the month starting January 11th from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Free and no registration is required.
