Instructors Jill Russell and Kelly Carsley will lead you through routines that will optimize your overall well-being through breath awareness, improved joint mobility and increased strength and flexibility. All levels are welcome and supported. Studies show that simply looking at trees and the color green can lower blood pressure, reduce stress, and improve your mood. That makes the Garden’s Manor House Fireplace Room, with its wooden floors and beautiful views of the surrounding forest, an ideal place to take a mid-day break that is just for you. Register in advance or just drop in. Ages 18 and over.

We will focus on what can be done for our yard and garden to attract butterflies and keep them coming. There are actually dozens of varieties of butterflies in our area. Presenter, Jim Kronenberg, will teach us some general advice about how to attract them all.

Jim Kronenberg is an OSU Extension Service Master Gardener Volunteer.  He speaks frequently to groups on gardening topics and is the coordinator for the Lake Oswego Farmers’ Market Master Gardener clinic booth.

Yoga in the Garden @ Leach Botanical Garden

Rejuvenate and restore your mind and body with a gentle weekly yoga session surrounded by nature. Instructors Jill Russell and Kelly Carsley will lead you through routines that will optimize your overall well-being through breath awareness, improved joint mobility and increased strength and flexibility. All levels are welcome and supported. Studies show that simply looking at trees and the color green can lower blood pressure, reduce stress, and improve your mood. That makes the Garden’s Manor House Fireplace Room, with its wooden floors and beautiful views of the surrounding forest, an ideal place to take a mid-day break that is just for you. Register in advance or just drop in. Ages 18 and over.

Meets weekly in the Manor House Fireplace Room starting February 5, 2019.

This will be a quiet, distraction free place for students to work on homework, use the computer lab if needed, and utilize Khan Academy for homework help. There will be no direct tutoring support, but students will be supervised by an adult to help maintain focus and ensure that computer time is being used only for schoolwork (i.e. no games or socializing). All independent students ( age 10+) are welcome

It consists of an ideal story-telling mechanism, combining graphic art, characterization, cinematography, and other forms of imaginative and individualistic techniques. The production of anime focuses less on the animation of movement and more on the realism of settings as well as the use of camera effects, including panning, zooming, and angle shots
