Preschool Story and Playtime occurs every Tuesdat in the Sandy Library Community Room from 10:00am to 11:30am.  The program is suitable for kids 3 to 5 years. Playtime and snack is provided by generous funds from Clackamas County Children, Youth, and Family Divisions, and Todos Juntos.

Storytimes open up the world of books, music, culture, and play to babies, toddlers, families and young children. Did YOU know that nearly half of the children entering kindergarten lack the early reading skills needed for school success. Sandy Public Library has several free programs and services for children that enhance skills in reading, interactive play and early literacy development.

There will be no direct tutoring support, but students will be supervised by an adult to help maintain focus and ensure that computer time is being used only for schoolwork (i.e. no games or socializing). All independent students ( age 10+) are welcome

The production of anime focuses less on the animation of movement and more on the realism of settings as well as the use of camera effects, including panning, zooming, and angle shots

We will define zero waste and investigate several ways to work toward that goal. Presenter, Renae Gregg, has a degree in biochemistry and general biology and a masters in education. She has been teaching science, all disciplines, at the junior high and high school level for 18 years. She has been a curious steward of the environment and an advocate for living sustainably for 30 years.This program is part of our Mind~Body~Spirit; creating a vibrant adult life series and is supported by the Friends of the Sandy Library.
