This meeting will be a place where parents, grandparents, and guardians can ask questions, get support, and problem solve. Although open to all families, the meeting will not include public officials such as DHS or police. The intent is to create a safe place where discussions can occur without fear of consequence. We will offer a family oriented craft class at the same time so that there is the opportunity for childcare during the meeting.
When: First and Third Wednesday evenings beginning January 17th of 2018, 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
Facilitation: Nunpa, the Executive Director will be at every meeting. He has over 30 years of experience working in the system with mental health, addictions, run-away youth, truancy, and school problems. He has knowledge of supports in the community as well as opportunities for youth to help support and change negative situations.
Childcare Support During Meetings: AntFarm volunteers will support children in providing an activity or craft project in another room while the parents, grandparents, and guardians meet.
