Image result for garfield skip-a-week quilt clubThe quilt club has grown from a few members meeting in homes, to a large group renting the Garfield Grange building. The group claims to be the oldest documented quilt club in the state of Oregon. Many of today’s members are related to the founding members of the club. The club meets every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and most Wednesday evenings. Dues are $1 each year. The members hand quilt for others for a fee, depending on the size of the quilt.

  1. I have 3 good size boxes of monthly quilting magazines that belonged to my mother in law. They are too good to recycle. Estacada does not have a home ec program to give them to. Would you be interested in having them?

  2. Sigrid, I don’t know if you have received a reply to your question, but Skip-A-Week does accept donations of quilting magazines. We quilt at the Grange every Wednesday from 10 to 3. You could bring them up to the Grange any Wednesday.
    Thanks, Jackie Steinkellner
