Image result for knitting imagesAll elementary students are invited to continue to learn more basics of knitting with Darrelyn Karczag, an LCMCS grandparent and veteran knitter. The children will begin actively knitting the Garter stitch, proceed into Purling & the basic Stockinette Stitch; then binding naturally follows. Students should bring supplies they already have from previous classes or home knitting. Suggested supply list: worsted weight yarn, 1 pair of knitting needles (sizes 6-10). There will be limited start up equipment provided for those who have need. Students with experience can choose from library pattern books.
