Ages: children and adults.

Join us for this fun springtime tradition in Leach Botanical Garden’s Upper Meadow. This year’s theme is“Traveling Seeds.”  Learn about seeds of all kinds, including those that disperse by “traveling.” Which ones fly? Which ones catch a ride? What role do we play in helping them get where they need to go?

In addition to all the fun seed activities, there will be arts/crafts tables, a story teller, take home plantings, music, slug races, 25 cent ice cream and more!  Fun for all ages.

Thanks to our sponsor, PNW Federal Credit Union, and our partners Johnson Creek Watershed Council, Zenger Farm, Friends of Outdoor School, and Portland Parks & Recreation Environmental Education Program.
